InerziaTimer For Mac

InerziaTimer is a lightweight OS X application that makes it as easy as possible for you to measure and calculate time intervals.

This said, you should know right from the start that InerziaTimer comes with three powerful and self-explanatory features, namely Countdown, Chronometer, and Reminder.

Within the Countdown tab, you can set time intervals using either your Mac’s keyboard or the mouse pointer to twist the little knobs. After the interval is set, click “Start” and InerziaTimer will initiate the countdown, at the end of which it can be setup to either play a sound, speak a sentence or to show a dialog and open any folder, file or app in the Finder.

The Chronometer works exactly as any other chronometer out there, and it mainly helps you to keep track of lap times. With the help of this feature, the app can also tell you the lap average times.

As is the case of the capabilities mentioned above, InerziaTimer’s Reminder is just as easy to work with. Simply set a date in the future, click “Set”, and never miss any task from here onwards.

While we have found InerziaTimer’s to be a user-friendly app, with very efficient features and minimal resource consumption, the app is seriously let down by its interface.

Yes, its interface does come with an intuitive layout, but we’re afraid that’s not enough at times. Everything feels too small, too cramped, and somewhat untidy, especially when referring to its knobs from the Countdown tab.

InerziaTimer works great and is perfectly aimed at users who often find themselves needing to keep track of time spans for certain operations directly from their Mac’s desktop, via a no muss no fuss user interface.
