IP Address Menu For Mac

Knowing your current IP address is important, especially if you direct your traffic through proxies. IP Address Menu is a simple Mac app that enables you to see details about your current connection without too much trouble.

Working with the IP Address Menu application is very straightforward: upon launch, the app places a new menu in your status bar which provides the current user name, the computer name, the internal and external IP addresses, the subnet mask, and the MAC address.

Granted, this information can be extracted from your System Preferences window, or from the About this Mac panel. However, using the IP Address Menu app is a lot faster and easier.

Via the IP Address Menu Preferences window you can choose to replace the status bar icon with the internal or external IP address: this way, you can easily visualize the IP change without having to open the menu.
