Launch and quit applications using the menu bar.. #Launch app #Quit app #Menubar item #Launch #Quit #Menubar
HimmelBar is a little faceless application that provides an icon in the menu bar to quickly access your installed applications by scanning standard locations such as local, user, developer and network applications, and also utilities.
HimmelBar provides a simple and easy way to launch applications without having to open folders and navigate through differents applications locations.
HimmelBar automatically scans for installed applications every time it is launched and every time you add or remove an application from standard locations.
You can customize what applications should be displayed for each menu, and their sort order.
You can have HimmelBar starting at login just by clicking a button in the preferences window (this is set as default since version 1.4).
You can quit all running applications from HimmelBar. You can also filter applications you don't want to quit, or quit all applications but the frontmost.
What's new in HimmelBar 3.0 Beta:
- Not compatible with previous versions, this means your preferences won't be retrieved, but this also means they won't be modified either, so you'll be able to revert to version 2.4.3 if you encounter any problem.
- Please also note that some localizations are missing, they will be available again with the final release.
