Hardware Notifier is a simple OS X applicaiton that takes advantage of Mountain Lion's Notification Center to let you know when your USB devices are plugged or unplugged.

In other words, the Hardware Notifier app provides a fast and unobtrusive way to monitor your USB devices.

NOTE: To buy Hardware Notifier via the App Store, an Apple account is required.
