A Mac OS X application that connects to your HAI Home Automation Controller and sends notification to the Haiku app running on your iOS device.
HaikuHelper will connect to your HAI device and automatically pushes notifications whenever a new event is detected, allowing you to react to them. Navigate to the HaikuHelper Preferences window to view the status of all connected controllers and make the necessary adjustments.
In the Status area you can view details about the controller model, firmware, protocol, phone number, battery level and more. The same area allows you to adjust different settings or to enable the iOS push notification transmission.
What’s more, HaikuHelper comes with a built in web server that allows you to access the home automation system remotely. This way, you can create user interfaces using the HTML5, AJAX or Flash technologies and deliver them to different devices, all over the world.
The web interface also provides access to the climate history for up to 2 years and the available data is presented using different graphs. For example, you will be able to view the thermostats activity or the info captured by auxiliary sensors in order analyze the the HVAC runtimes for cooling, humidification / dehumidification or heating.
Noteworthy is that HaikuHelper requires to be connected to the Haiku for iOS application only if you want to use the push notification function.
To sum up, HaikuHelper allows you to view the status of all your HAI home automation controllers and offers you the possibility to extend their capabilities.
