Google2SRT is a free and open source application that can download "not embedded" subtitles (Closed Captions - CC) from YouTube or Google Video videos and convert them to a standard format (SubRip - SRT) supported by most video players.
That's why Google2SRT was built: to let download and convert them to a format recognized by most video players (SRT) and that can be converted to another also well-known formats like SSA (SubStation Alpha) or SUB (MicroDVD).
Google2SRT is developed using the Java programming language and can be run on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
Requirements:
