If you are using a FRITZ!Box device in your home, the Frizzix Mac app can help you manage your calls, browse your call history, manage your contacts, and so on. The app is able to integrate with the Apple Contacts app, so you will have instant access to your address book.
Finding your way around the Frizzix application is fairly straightforward: upon launch, the app places a menu in your status bar which allows you to access your call history, to make new calls, to start recording, or to access your preferences.
Right off the bat, you must open the Frizzix Preferences and provide the IP address for the FRITZ!Box device: this is extremely important because you must establish a connection between your device and your Mac computer.
Within the Frizzix Call History window you can easily visualize all previous calls, including the ones you have rejected. The application helps you to distinguish between incoming and outgoing calls, enables you to send emails, to browse your address book, and more.
Note that via the Preferences, you can set up alerts and other actions when receiving or making calls. Other customization options include the possibility to setup default country and area codes for your contacts, and the fact that you can choose to ignore certain numbers.
Frizzix enables you to take advantage of the FRITZ!Box device capabilities from the comfort of your own computer: you can easily receive or make calls, you can manage your phone book, browse your call history, and so on. It can prove to be a very efficient companion for your FRITZ!Box gadget.
