Font Viewer For Mac

Apple’s Font Book application enables you to quickly and easily manage your font’s collection, but it is not optimized for listing all the installed fonts or for comparing various styles. Font Viewer is a minimalist utility that offers you the possibility to browse, preview, and print your fonts in no time.

Working with Font Viewer is extremely intuitive: at launch, the application scans your fonts library and displays all detected items in list mode. Beneath each entry, Font Viewer places a text box where you can input your own text strings.

Since Font Viewer allows you to open multiple windows at the same time, you have the possibility to compare various fonts even if they have distant positions in the list. At the same time, the app enables you to quickly print the list (at normal or at maximal resolution).

Font Viewer offers you the possibility to preview each typeface by using your own text: you get to use different snippets for each box, but you may also replicate a certain sequence for all fonts. You can adjust the font style (normal, bold, italic) and size (each font size comes with a simple hotkey).

Last but not least, Font Viewer allows you to change the font and background colors. Note that all adjustments must be performed for each opened window separately: this way you can compare various font sizes, color combinations, and so on.

Font Viewer is the perfect tool to have on your Mac if you need to decide what font style or color palette works best for a certain project.

You can compare fonts by opening multiple windows and making various adjustments, but Font Viewer is also able to quickly print the fonts list available on your Mac.
