iPod users have always been interested to find more intuitive tools when it comes to managing their music library. The iTunes approach is based on playlist syncing, hence moving music from one device to another can be a real challenge.

Floola is a great application that offers you the possibility to quickly copy files to and from your iPod device through simple actions. The application will scan your iPod in order to detect the stored media and then allows you to manage your music.

The Floola installation process is very simple (just drag and drop the app’s icon on your disk) but you might need a torrent client installed to actually download the application: to preserve bandwidth, the developers advise you to use the Bittorrent files.

To correctly uninstall the application navigate to the “Tools” menu, select the “Advanced” entry and choose the “Uninstall Floola” function.

Floola will display the genres, artists, albums and the playlists stored on your iPod device. Via the top menus or through simple keyboard shortcuts, you will be able to rename or delete items, manage playlists (create, rename, delete, shuffle, sort and more), play media content or share the currently playing song on Twitter, Facebook, Last.fm or MSN.

Floola can also be used to manage podcasts, the included artwork or your text notes. Floola can export your current items list or remove the duplicate entries.
