GIVEAWAY: Download and install FRS Clocks and Time for FREE (original price: $0.99)!
FRS Clocks and Time is a really simple cross-platform application that teachers or parents can use to help children learn how to tell the time. It comes with a very basic user interface and a handful of features.
In essence, the application allows children to look at a virtual clock that shows the time randomly. They must tell the correct time and enter the hours and minutes in simple boxes.
The clocks come in 3 flavors: standard, classic (with roman symbols) and modern (with no numbers). The app includes randomly generated tests with simple exercises.
For instance, a test tells students to answer questions such as “It is ten minutes after nine. What time will it be in thirty-five minutes?”. Kids must select one in 3 clock faces.
FRS Clocks and Time can be purchased from the Mac App Store or via the program’s homepage for a few dollars. What’s more, the app consumes very little resources when running. To conclude, whether you’re a teacher, parent or any adult who wants to help a child learn how to tell the time on classic clocks, this app might be what you’re looking for. It is highly user-friendly, comes with a clean interface, but not that many features.
