Cloud storage services have become very popular because they provide remote access to different files and folders, in an intuitive and streamlined manner. ExpanDrive pushes things even further by allowing you to connect to multiple remote storage locations via an user friendly interface.
Easy to install and setup management utility for remote storage connections
Upon launch, ExpanDrive adds a new menu to your status bar which allows you to connect to various cloud services with a single click. However, the actual file management will be performed via the Finder window: each remote location is added to your Finder’s Devices bar, as a separate volume.
To use the app, you must start by defining your remote locations. ExpanDrive provides support for popular cloud services (Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Box.com, ownCloud, WebDav, Amazon S3, and so on), but can also establish user setup FTP or SFTP connections.
Instantly access remote storage locations as volumes
Via the ExpanDrive main panel, you get to visualize all defined storage locations, decide to actually establish a connection (the action will mount the remote “volume”), open the storage folder, or simply eject the “drive”. This way, you have access to multiple locations at the same time, without making use of more than one app.
In addition, when transferring files to various locations, ExpanDrive is able to perform the task in the background, without requiring any user interaction. This is possible thanks to the built-in multi threaded connection engine.

ExpanDrive is a great tool to have around if you employing more than one cloud storage service, or FTP server: the app enables you to keep track of all your locations via an unobtrusive status bar menu, and “mounts” each location as an USB drive that can be managed via the Finder.
