    DataDirect Connect for ODBC 4.0 description

    Connectivity tool to SQL database servers.

    DataDirect Connect for ODBC offers reliable, high-performance connectivity to SQL Server, Oracle, and text databases across all major platforms, including Mac OS and OS X.

    These carbon drivers use wire protocol technology so they don't need database client software such as Oracle's SQL*NET. Connect for ODBC supports the latest ODBC specification offering the most advanced functionality available.

    The DataDirect installer includes an SDK so you can incorporate ODBC connectivity using the new DataDirect ODBC 4.0 Driver Manager and ODBC Drivers.
