DMGConverter provides you with a simple yet functional interface that makes it easier for you to create the disk images you want.
On top of that, you can process multiple files and folders with the sole purpose of creating a custom DMG.
DMGConverter allows you to convert image files to segment images or any of the supported formats. These include ADC, UDF, ISO, CDR, zlib, NDIF and others.
The application also enables you to resize exiting disk images or check image checksum, if needed. You can view disk image information at any given time.
Upon opening the application you will be able to create a new image from folders. All you need to do is select the folder you want to use, then drag and drop it to the main application window. DMGConverter features multiple disk image options that allow you to change the compression level volume format. You can even encrypt the disk image, if you want to.
The application provides comprehensive information about the select images. It displays the checksum type, class name, format description, checksum value, segments and partition information, among others.
The disk image creation process is very fast and displays how many files are left to process, but also shows the current amount of used space.
In the Preferences window you can change multiple application options, like the default compression level, file and volume format, partitions and even enable or disable encoding. On top of that, it also allows you to include support for Internet-enabled images.
