DAEMON Tools iSCSI Target is a simple and clean solution that provides the required tools to share virtual or physical optical devices and virtual hard disks with multiple clients.
Useful sharing features
Thanks to DAEMON Tools iSCSI Target, you can easily create an enterprise or home network storage based on iSCSI protocol. Consequently, you can expand your Mac’s capabilities and turn it into a complete server for disc image storing.
From DAEMON Tools iSCSI Target’s main window you an easily create up to 16 iSCSI targets and use any of them as a virtual image, physical drive or virtual hard disk. The bottom toolbar helps you add or remove targets with just a mouse click.
The context menu helps you add or remove the selected iSCSI target, refresh the list and check the device parameters.
Customizable device parameters
By accessing the Device Parameters window, you name the target alias and target name, adjust the number of allowed connections, view the number of active connections and source path, and change the login user and password.
To connect to a iSCSI target you need an iSCSI compatible application, like DAEMON Tools Lite, which can enable you to work with the physical or virtual device as if you were directly connected to it.
Handy web interface
What is more, you can use the web interface to manage all exiting iSCSI targets, stop the iSCSI Adapter, add or remove targets.
You can change the interface language, enable, disable and configure the iSCSI Adapter and change the Internet connection settings from within the Preferences window. You can also enable, disable and configure the web server and generate SSL certificates.
What is more, you can set an administrator account and password, allow DAEMON Tools iSCSI Target to automatically check for updates and use proxy servers.
