Cobook for Mac
Cobook is a contacts management application that can connect to multiple services in order to bring all the details about your social relations to the same database. The utility can import data from your Contacts app, but can also extract contact info from your Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social accounts.
Unobtrusive status bar app that provides access to all your contacts
Upon launch, Cobook will place a small icon in your status bar, and you will be able to access its panel with a single mouse click. The app will ask for permission to import data from your Contacts app, so if you agree, you will be able to view and search your entire address book via the status bar.
The next step is to open the Settings panel and connect to any of the supported social services: Facebook, Google, Twitter, Xing, AngelList, Foursquare, Instagram, or LinkedIn (note that some of them become available via in-app purchases).
Communicate with your friends in no time, regardless of how you met them
Cobook will automatically import the address book associated to your social accounts, adding the entries to the app’s main panel. As a result, you will be able to find the contact details faster and send messages or emails in no time.
To streamline the process, Cobook comes with a simple search tool that can find entries by name or by tags. In addition, you can easily sort the entries by first or last name.
Keep all your social contacts in the same place in order to access the info with minimal effort
Cobook eliminates the need to browse through different social accounts in order to find contact details for one of your friends or acquaintances: the app creates a common database and then provides simple search and sorting tools to help you find specific entries.
