Clearview features a user-oriented interface from which you can effortlessly add your folders containing eBooks. You can also organize your books in different custom collections with just a few mouse clicks. On top of that, you can view the selected book in Finder, open it in a new tab for reading or edit the book information.
The powerful built-in shelf helps you preview your eBook collection, browse your books and view their table of contents before even opening the book. The shelf features a thumbnail, list, flow and detailed list format. In addition, Clearview comes with support for PDF, EPUB, MOBI and CHM eBook format.
The tabbed style window is another great feature designed to improve your reading experience by offering you instant access to other books without switching between book windows. In addition, Clearview is able to restore multiple closed tabs just like any other Internet browser.
On top of that, Clearview offers powerful searching capabilities. Thus, you can quickly find a book by the content, author, publisher, title or file name. You can also perform in-book searches for certain text fragments or expressions.
Clearview also provides three book page color themes, five reading modes, different font types and the possibility to increase or decrease the size of the font. You can even insert bookmarks, write annotations, highlight or underline text fragments and insert various shapes. What is more, you can export the eBook along with your annotations to PDF files and export your notes to RTF files.
Unfortunately, Clearview does not come with support for DRM protected eBooks that you can by via iTunes or other eBook stores.
