CleanMyPhone is a handy and smooth-running Mac OS X utility designed to help you keep your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in tip top shape. It is capable of scanning and cleaning your device’s disk, as well as backing-up important data from your iOS device.
The main window features a sleek and elegant look and feel and is divided into 5 tabs for different modules: Device Status, Disk Manager, App Cleaner, Find Large Files and One-Click-Copy. The first module displays your device’s main details and the current capacity of its internal storage.
Furthermore, the Disk Manager analyzes your device’s disk space and shows you which types of data occupy the most space: photos, music, videos, etc. Additionally, you can browse, preview, export and delete all the files in each category from a straightforward detailed view mode.
The App Cleaner module scans for documents & data, app cache, app cookies and app junk files scattered throughout your device’s memory. Similarly to the Disk Manager, this module also allows you you to access the files in each category and optionally export or remove them in order to save up disk space.
In the next module, you can view which files are occupying big chunks of disk space. Of course, this function is also designed to help you clear up space on the memory of your device. Las but not least, the One-Click-Copy feature makes it easy to create backups of your photos, music, messages, call logs (and more) with a simple click.
In a nutshell, CleanMyPhone offers a basic yet efficient solution to tidying up your iOS device with minimum effort. The scanning and cleaning processes are very fast and the app can even copy your device’s important data on your Mac.
