City Time For Mac

City Time is a very straightforward OS X app aimed at those who always need to know the local time in various countries, cities or even at specific addresses around the world.

It can be accessed from your menu bar upon installation and displays multiple entries at the same time, each providing you with the current time and date, as well as the local time zone. No other features are worth mentioning, however, as City Time only offers the most basic functions.

If you are looking for a simple utility that can help you make sense of the numerous global time zones and do not mind a lack of advanced features, City Time may just be what you need.

All you need to to is click its menu bar icon to display a window containing all the cities, countries or addresses that are relevant to your needs.

You can add cities in by writing their name in English or a local language, and the app will find and add them to the list automatically.

It is possible to enter specific addresses and give entries any name, which can be useful if, for example, you want to know what the local time is for a certain company, without having to remember its exact location.

You can modify the time and date formats and choose which items should be copied to the clipboard when you click on a location. However, this is the full extent of the customization City Time supports, as there are no other menu styles or fonts available, and you cannot even resize its main window, which is unnecessarily large if you are only monitoring one or two locations.

This is a straightforward tool that can be of great help if you need to know what the local time is in various places around the world. However, the features it offers are rather limited.
