ChimeX is a menubar-bsed OS X app that makes your computer chime Westminster chimes each quarter hour.
Moreover, for each quarter hour, you can have the computer speak the time to you in the robot voice that you prefer.
ChimeX can sound out custom alerts for the hour, half hour, and quarter hour. You may have the computer speak the time, play a sound file of your choice, play the standard alert sound, or do nothing.
If the "Set Alarm Time" is selected, then at the selected time is reached, the sound option that was chosen will play.
ChimeX is also useful for setting up a reminder alert in addition to the hour notifications.
