Battery Status For Mac

Battery Status is a Mac OS X application that shows you battery details for each wireless device connected to your Mac. Battery Status supports a variety of Apple wireless devices: keyboards, mice, trackpads and laptops. It even adds support for Logitech's Performance MX mouse.

The Battery Status utility estimates when the battery is about to die, when was the last time you replaced the battery and shows the percentage of the remaining battery life.

Battery Status displays information about your MacBook's internal battery, such as the current percentage, the number of charge cycles on the battery, or an estimation on how the battery can last until it discharges.

Battery Status's menu bar item also displays the percentage of the design capacity that the battery can use, and attempts to estimate how long the battery will take to fully charge.

Moreover, the application comes with the ability to share the battery status of multiple connected Macs (via a local network) with each other. This feature can be accessed by clicking on the "Broadcast" and "Receive" options from the app's Preferences window.

The Preferences window is divided into three sections: Menu Icons, Notifications and  Networking. From the first tab, you can toggle how information should be displayed: percent alongside icon, icon in black and white, or green plus when plugged in.

From the Notifications tab, you can choose when to display alerts and the Networking tab lets you toggle the Broadcast and Receive functions that were talked about a few paragraphs ago.
