The light and unobtrusive utility runs in the background and automatically backups your personal data every time you plug in an USB stick, thumbdrive, SD card or external hard disk that has been previously configured for backup with Backup To Go.
To get started, you just have to plug in the desired backup drive, add it to the Backup Scripts panel from Backup To Go’s main window and effortlessly add the files and folders you wish to backup.
Easily check the amount of disk space and reveal information about the backup drive
Backup To Go allows you perform manual backups, as well as automatic backups capable to eject the drive at the end of the backup process. Backup To Go also helps you obtain detailed information about the selected disk, check the backup log and monitor the amount of available storage space.
Every time you plug in a backup drive, Backup To Go prompts up a window that offers you different possible actions that the app could perform. Hence, you can immediately start the backup process, reveal the disk in Finder or eject the disk. If you ignore the message, Backup To Go automatically initiates the backup process.
Automatically performs simultaneous backups to different drives
By accessing Backup To Go’s status bar menu, you can view a list with all connected and configured backup drives and click on any given disk to start the backup job.
