Sleep Control Center is a straightforward yet useful application that aims to provide an unobtrusive and quick solution for disabling your Mac’s sleep mode, as well as a few additional options over macOS’ energy saving default features.

Once installed on your Mac, this small application will live into macOS’ status bar and all its functions can be quickly accessed with one single click on its item.

As its name clearly states, Sleep Control Center is mostly about blocking your Mac’s sleep feature. Not only that, but it can also help you to disable the sleep mode for your Mac’s display.

The app can be setup up to keep your Mac’s sleep option disabled indefinitely, or it can be adjusted to do this for predefined periods of time.

In order to set a specific operating schedule, click the Timer option from its menu, and select a period of time.

What’s more, the app also bundles a feature that enables you to block your Mac’s sleep mode straight from the point when the app launches, or when your MacBook is connected to an AC source.

Speaking of power outputs, it also bundles a Critical Battery Charge option, but, unfortunately, we couldn’t find any information on what this option might exactly do, therefore the addition of a Help feature in the future will be welcomed.

Another worth mentioning and useful capability is the fact that the app enables you to prompt your screen saver and put your Mac on sleep mode with one click from the app’s menu.

Considering the fact that it is a very user-friendly application that provides you additional options over what macOS is already offering, Sleep Control Center proved to be an efficient little application that will come in handy in situations when your Mac has to stay awake for long periods of time.
