Anima for Mac
The Mac OS X Finder application enables you to browse the content of your folders, but it does not include extensive filtering tools, or built in file viewing options. Anima is an OS X file browser that allows you to filter your folder’s content by type, and enables you to preview image and video files within its main window.
Easy to install and user friendly file browser for OS X
The Anima main window is reserved exclusively for displaying the items included in each directory, both files and folders. At the same time, the top window toolbar includes a search bar and various filtering tools: the app can identify the image, video, audio, and text files, and you can choose to visualize only a specific category.
Moreover, you can sort the files list by name, kind, extension, or size, in an ascending or descending manner. This way, you have the opportunity to find a specific type of file a lot easier. Take into account that Anima requires user confirmation to access certain directories.
Unsophisticated file browser with built-in previewing tools
Anima offers you the possibility to visualize the content of image or video files without having to employ third party applications: a simple double click will bring the image or video forward.
When dealing with movies, Anima provides a basic media player that includes a timer and a slider bar for controlling the playback. Note that you can choose to have the Anima window alway on top, so you can easily employ the utility to watch videos while performing other tasks.
Straightforward file viewer with filtering and sorting capabilities
Anima comes with a stylish, minimalist user interface and enables you to browse the content of your drive in an intuitive, user friendly manner. For your convenience, the app can filter the content by type, sort it by using different criteria, and offers you the possibility to view the file’s content on the spot.
