Phone Plugins is a software package that allows you to quick-dial and quick-send a text message to a selected number in the Address Book or any other Application.

If you ever looked for a way to quick-dial a number and quick-send a text message like with the Address Book in Mac OS X 10.4.x, the wait is finally over. Phone plugins are here for you to do just that with Mac OS X 10.5.2 and higher.

The new version of Phone plugins is not restricted to the Address Book, but works in other Applications as well. Phone plugins includes its own bluetooth wizard to connect your cell phone to the Mac in one simple step, if needed. So your next call or text message is just a click away...

Make a quick call or send a text message with one click right from your Mac's Address Book... or from any other application: Select the number, use the 'Services' menu. It is that easy!

Phone plugins - seeing is believing
Whenever you choose 'Send text' a new message window opens on your screen. If the number is recognized from Address Book, the recepients name is already filled in. You can write text messages longer than 160 characters.

Phone plugins will split the message in several ones automatically. The status line gives you all information about how many parts the message consits of and how many characters are left.

Whenever you choose 'Dial number', your cell phone starts dialing and you see this action on your Macintosh. You can choose to 'Hang Up' or take your cell phone and start talking!

Limitations:

· Any text message can only be 80 characters long and you will see a 'Nag Screen' for a certain time after each issued call or send text message.
