Intuitive user interface
Activity Timer is a smooth-running menulet that seamlessly integrates with your Mac’s menu bar from where you can monitor the timer and access its main menu. What is more, Activity Timer comes with a series of pre-defined timers for three, five, twenty five and thirty minutes that you can use as time intervals for various activities.
Customizable Preset Intervals
From Activity Timer’s status bar menu you can easily start, pause or reset the timer, view the remaining time and access the Preset Intervals sub-menu. In addition, you can quit the app or open the Preferences window and add new time intervals or personalize the existing ones. You just have to decide on the counter time interval and type in the notification message that will be displayed when the counter reaches zero.
Notification Center integration
Activity Timer is designed to display a simple and clean notification window via your Mac’s Notification Center every time the countdown is complete. As mentioned before, the notification message can be easily personalized with motivating words and short sentences. Since Activity Timer uses the System's Notification Center to display alerts, it will also play the default notification sound when the countdown counts the last second.
To conclude, Activity Timer is a light, clean and useful Mac OS X application that provides the required tools to keep track of time and respect your deadlines as well as break periods.
