XtreemFS 1.5

Distributed and replicated file system for the Cloud.
XtreemFS is an open-source, distributed and replicated file system for cloud based IT infrastructures.

XtreemFS can be installed on various data centers and can handle all types of failures occurring in wide-area installations.

The other main aspect is replication, meaning that XtreemFS can easily replicate your files across data centers. This makes it reduce latency and bandwidth consumption.

Detailed instructions on how to install and use the XtreemFS utility on your Mac are available HERE.

XtreemFS is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X and Linux. Binaries for the Linux and Linux platforms are available on the project's homepage.
