Spark 3.0 Beta 9
A Cocoa based software solution that helps users create global hotkeys for numerous actions, launching and controlling apps and documents, controlling iTunes and more
Using Spark, you will be able to launch applications and files, control iTunes and menu actions, activate system shortcuts, execute AppleScript and perform text / keyboard actions using pre-defined global hotkeys.
Users will be able to give a name, action type and description to a global hotkey, in addition to the combination of keys itself.
Spark also includes a Library where you can store, manage and organize your shortcuts by name, shortcut, action type and description. You can also back-up the library as a secure file or convert it to a HTML document for easy printing.
The user interface is intuitive and straightforward. You can select the type of hotkey you want to create from the HotKey Groups pane on the left of the main window. Double click on each category to start creating a new hotkey.
Each category contains some unique parameters, but you will always be able to assign a shortcut, name and description to all your global hotkeys.
In the AppleScript category, you can set hotkeys to Run, check, open or even to execute a certain script. The Applications category lets you assign hotkeys to actions (launch, quit, hide front, force quit, etc.) for all your apps.
Furthermore, the Document category enables you to select a certain file and appoint a global hotkey to launch it, reveal in finder and more.
