Singular 0.9.1

Singular is a very simple tool designed to help you find and remove duplicate files on your Mac.

Drop files & folders on its window or its Dock icon, choose files with the open panel, it makes no difference: it finds duplicate files, shows you the results and lets you move them to the Trash in just a click of the mouse.

Currently in public beta, the app will soon be released as shareware for about 9$. Way less than the competitors.

Here are some key features of "Singular":

· Singular can help you to find duplicate files on a given set of files and folders using four different criteria: MD5 hash, SHA-1 hash, file size and file name.
· For the power user, Singular has a bunch of advanced settings to customize the way it scans for duplicates.
· Singular by default keeps a copy for each duplicate file. That way you can safely delete all the other copies. And what if you change your mind? Singular keeps a log of what it had moved to the Trash and its original location.
· Do you always scan the same folders in search of duplicates? You will love Quick Scans. Group folders in a Quick Scan and launch it with a single keystroke!
· Singular uses Sparkle to handle automatic software updates. Never worry to check for updates anymore!
· Singular comes with a nifty widget that lets you drop files and folders from the Dashboard.
