SciMark Drives is a very easy to use Terminal.app utility that offers you the possibility to measure and test the performance of all your drives. To use the utility, simply run it in the Terminal and it will take care of the rest.

SciMark Drives analyzes your drives response time when it has to deal with both single thread and multi thread requests. You will be able to see the results in the Terminal window, but the utility will also generate a text file containing the results.

SciMark Drives will prove to be very useful if you need to analyze your drives performance and should be used on systems that have default settings.

NOTE: The SciMark Drives utility can be used free of charge for personal use, but if you intend to use it for commercial purposes, a license is required.
