Simple installation process
PaperCut NG comes with its own installer and an uninstaller command that greatly streamline both procedures. However, to get started, you must first configure the application via the web setup wizard: from the PaperCut NG folder placed in your Applications directory select the “Admin Login.url” entry.
Configure the system from a web browser
Since PaperCut NG provides a Configuration wizard, you should be able to make the necessary adjustments quite easily: set up a password, choose an organization type, specify the printing costs and select the user information source.
Manage all accounts via the web Dashboard
When everything is up and running, you can use the PaperCut NG web admin panel to visualize details about your system, monitor the realtime activity, analyze the printers status and the environmental impact, create new accounts, and much more.
Web access to the console for the client side
At the same time, on any workstation connected to your network, you can run the PaperCut NG Client and view your current balance . Moreover, if you press on the “details button, you are directed to your default browser where you can login to your account and view the recent print jobs, the jobs pending release, or statistical data about your activity.

PaperCut NG enables you to silently monitor the printing activity on your network, identify printer errors and low toner alerts, track the printing expenses and the environmental impact, set up a charge per print system, and much more.
