However, keep in mind that the application still has it’s own requirements, such as the presence of the OS X Mountain Lion.app in your Applications folder, 40GB or hard drive space, 2GB of RAM, and a Xeon or Core 2 Duo processor. In addition, the installation procedure requires your attention and you will perform it at your own risk.
Carefully follow the installation instructions to deploy the Mountain Lion OS
Right off the bat, you must employ the Disk Utility application to create 2 partitions (one named Install, and one Mountain Lion) that are larger than 10GB and respectively 20GB. In the MLPostFactor installer select the Install partition and select the Montain lion version you want to install.
Reboot your Mac using the Install partition, launch the MLPostFactor installer and select the Mountain Lion partition to install the OS version you want to deploy. When the process is over you will receive an “Installation Failed” alert, but you will be able to see the MLPostFactor app in your Utilities folder. The next step is to install the MLPostFactor app on the Mountain Lion partition and then reboot your Mac using the Mountain Lion disk.

Deploy Mountain Lion on older machines that are not officially supported
MLPostFactor proposes a solution for people that are using older Macs that should not work with the Mountain Lion operating system. As long as you meet the MLPostFactor requirements, you can try to install the Mountain Lion OS, but keep in mind that you are performing the installation at your own risk.
