Lingon X offers you the possibility to view and edit launchd and service files in order to automate certain functions.

Moreover, Lingon X allows you to set up scripts or applications to run if a certain condition is met or at a specific time.

In addition, the Lingon X OS X application is able to run as root and use multiple dates.
