An alternative driver for the internal Apple IR Receivers. #Apple IR Receiver #Apple IR driver #Remote control driver #Apple IR #Infrared #Driver
At a glance Candelair provides a clean and complex global fix for the Apple remote issues that give most of the users serious headaches when it comes to working with third party applications under the latest Snow Leopard releases.
Candelair is based on the Remote Buddy's driver and comes packaged in a preference pane that presents all remote control options at a glance.
Go to System Preferences > Candelair and click "Uninstall" to uninstall the driver. When the driver is uninstalled, go to the overview in System Preferences, perform a right click on the "Candelair" icon and select "Remove".
What's new in Candelair 1.34:
- Enhancement: Updated HID descriptor of Apple IR emulation to match that of High Sierra.
- Fix: System Preferences is no longer closed when cancelling the installation.
- Fix: Pressing the up and down buttons now only increments/decrements the volume by one step.
