    ACP Web Services description

Select text literally anywhere on your OS X desktop

Select text literally anywhere on your OS X desktop, click your 'Services' menu from your menu bar, select an ACP Web service - and you're there.

ACP Web Services is a group of over 200 search engine services working off 'Services' on your menu bar and includes a service manager app so you can edit them and add new services of your own. (The package includes a tutorial which shows how easy it is to do this.)

AWSBrowser is the ACP Web Services browser. It lets you browse catalogues with web resources, test them, and export them to your Services menu where they can be further edited by AWSManager.

All you need to do to make it work is drag it to the location of your choosing and launch it.

AWSManager is the ACP Web Services editor. It will load the configuration of your ACP Web Services so you can make changes to menu item and submenu item titles and search URLs; copy, cut, delete and paste in services; create new services; and so forth.

AWS.service is a Cocoa service module. It runs only in the background. You do not need to launch it or start it or exit it: the system takes care of all of that for you. AWS.service will make selected text anywhere on your desktop capable of invoking a service from a resource on the web.

To make it work, all you have to do is drag it to the right location and restart your computer.
