sharedSecrets is a lightweight password manager for the Mac. You have to remember just one master password, and sharedSecrets handles all the Internet passwords, shopping acounts, PINs for banking and even the code number of your safe.

SharedSecrets was developed with your security in mind. The program's datasbase is stored with a state-of-the-art encryption at your computer. Whatever secret you store, it is truly "for your eyes only".

sharedSecrets uses the AES-128 encryption. All block ciphers are performed with Cipher Block Chaining mode and normal PKCS5/7 padding. This means, that the encryption key changes every 128 bit, which makes it much more safe then pure AES-128 with ECB.A random initialization vector guarantees that two versions of the exact same file will be encrypted totally different.
