iSpy Recorder For Mac

iSpy Recorder is a very simple and straightforward macOS application that is capable of recording anything in front of your Mac while you are away. The application uses your Mac’s built-in iSight camera or webcam to inconspicuously capture video footage.

The iSpy Recorder app can be used for various purposes. For example, you can check what your pets are doing when you're out of the room, find out how your sleeping habits during the night, or monitor on potential intruders. iSpy Recorder was created to answer these questions.

The application comes with a minimalistic user interface where you can select the recording video and audio devices, set the audio threshold, start / stop recording, and check the list of the captured videos.

All your movies are displayed by date in a list from the main window. You also get to see a preview image for each clip. Clicking on each movie listing will open it in a separate panel where you can view it.

The video player includes only the basic play / pause and skip backward / forward buttons. As for the videos, they are saved in the QuickTime format, so you can open them with various other players.
