Super SafeBox for Mac
Details about your accounts, files, notes or images that contain private information should be stored in a safe manner. Super SafeBox is an organized Mac app that provides basic capabilities when it comes to creating a secure database for your personal data.
When you first launch the application you will have to set up a master password and a security question. Make sure that you will remember the answers because you will need them each time you want to access the Super SafeBox main window.
However, both security elements should have a high complexity level because they represent the only obstacle between prying eyes and your private data.
Super SafeBox is able to work with four types of data: you can store general info (credentials for websites, email accounts, social networks, the license keys for different apps, bank accounts and more) or you can create private notebooks, photo albums, video or audio collections and more. You can import into Super SafeBox and protect virtually any type of file.
You have the possibility to backup your database by creating a vault file, but do not try to open the files from the Finder: you will receive an error. To restore a certain backup you must open the Super SafeBox app and choose the Restore option in the Backup window.
To customize the apps behavior you must navigate to the Super SafeBox Preferences window. Here you can choose to lock the main window automatically if it is inactive for 20 seconds, to lock the interface when the window is closed or to sync the database to your iCloud account.
All in all, Super SafeBox is a fairly easy to use application that provides simple tools designed to help you protect your private information and files. Noteworthy is that Super SafeBox imports the protected files into its database and you must erase them from the original location.
