PassDirector is a minimalist macOS application designed to help you store all your important information in a secure environment. The utility is using the AES-256 algorithm to encrypt the database, which can be stored in your iCloud account, or synced to your iPhone.

The PassDirector’s main window is organized in 3 main columns: the first displays all the supported entry types, the next allows you to see the accounts included in a certain group, while the last enables you to view and edit the properties of each entry.

The application is able to store details about bank accounts, credit cards, personal notes, hardware, email accounts, websites, serial numbers, internet connections, FTP servers, and more. To input new data simply double click on the respective area and PassDirector will open a separate text panel where you can type the information. Moreover, the app includes a password generator designed to help you maintain an above average security level.

The PassDirector database can be backed up to a file stored locally, or you can connect to your iPhone device and transfer the information to the PassDirector for iOS companion application.

What’s more, you can store the database in your iCloud account, which means that it can be easily synced to all your devices.
