Encrypto For Mac

Encrypto is a small and lightweight macOS app that makes it possible for you to encrypt files from your Mac’s hard-drive using the AES-256 bit encryption method.

Working with Encrypto is a very intuitive and straightforward process: simply drag and drop the file or folder you want to encrypt from the Finder onto Encrypto’s compact interface, type in a password and a password hint and click the “Encrypt” button.

From here onwards, Encrypto will encrypt your file or folder within seconds or minutes, depending on their overall size. Once the encryption process is completed, you can share the encrypted files via Mail, AirDrop, or Messages apps or simply save them on your Mac’s hard-drive.

The recipient on the other end can easily decrypt the files in the exact reverse order as you have encrypted them: load the encrypted file onto Encrypto’s interface, input the password, and click the “Decrypt” button. By clicking the “Save As…” button, you can save the decrypted file wherever you want on your Mac’s hard-drive.

Also noteworthy is the fact that because Encrypto runs both on OS and Windows, you can easily send encrypted files from home to work or vice-versa, or share them with your friends. Everything you encrypt on your Mac is fully compatible and can be decrypted by computers that run Windows.
