KinderGate is a powerful and versatile Mac OS X application specially made to help you filter your children’s Internet access and stop them from accessing a wide range of websites containing malicious software or content related to violence and drugs.
Customizable Parental Control tool
Thanks to KinderGate you can also check the statistics of the web history and filter the content that is delivered to your kid. Hence, you can visit a page and enjoy it without getting distracted by annoying pop-ups and advertisement banners.
By using KinderGate you can deny access to all sorts of websites and block a wide range of URL categories including websites containing viruses or pages related to pornography, adult content, gambling and other similar web pages. The KinderGate database covers over 500 million websites and is constantly updated with new ones.
Easy to configure and user-friendly
From KinderGate’s main window you can enable or disable the filters, set the desired filtering level, check certain webpages and analyze the basic usage report. You can configure KinderGate to allow access to all websites or set the filtering level to minimal, medium, high and maximum or create custom categories that will block only the provided webpages.
By switching to the Advanced Console, you can change your password, verify morphology settings, add webpages to your filters and create White and Black lists with a given list of websites. In addition, you can view the login history and take a look at the connection statistics.
