My Living Desktop is an application that allows you to put animated wallpapers on your desktop in order to give an original look to your Mac.

My Living Desktop comes with beautiful built in videos featuring beautiful scenes, but you can easily add your own footage also.

It is recomended to shoot the scenes you want to include in My Living Desktop using a High Definition (HD) camera. This is very important if you intend to view your scene on larger screens. You can use lower quality Standard Definition (SD) footage, but the final scene will look pixellated or blurry.

There are 3 steps when importing your own footage into My Living Desktop. Each step attempts to maintain the highest video quality possible without overburdening your computers CPU resources or hard drive. There is a balance between video quality, file size and CPU load.
