Wifi Manager For Mac

Wifi Manager is a no-frills and simple to use Mac OS X application that makes it easy to scan, inspect and connect to the Wifi networks in your proximity. It can display a variety of information and enables you to refresh, connect and disconnect networks with just a click.

The aim of Wifi Manager is to help you learn as much as you can about a wireless network in order to troubleshoot errors. Moreover, the user interface is highly intuitive and is divided into 2 tabs, one for scanning the available networks and the other to view details about a selected network.

In the Scan tab, you can use the Refresh button to renew the information. The following details are organized into different columns: network name, security mode,  IBSS, PHY Mode, RSSI, Channel and BSSID. Also, you can toggle an option to merge scan results and to connect to a network.

Once you connect to a network, its details will be displayed in the Interface Info tab. A ton of extra information is provided here: supported channels and PHY modes, country code, Op Mode, Trasmit Rate, RSSI, Noise, SSID, MAC address and more. A button to disconnect from the network is also available.
