Tribler For Mac

Tribler is a no-frills BitTorrent client specially designed to help you search and stream torrents from within a user-friendly interface.

Tribler comes with a simple and minimalist user interface that enables you to instantly search for torrents, manage all your transfers and play streaming torrents even before the download is completed.

The top toolbar features the built-in search engine and enables you to start, stop, resume and remove torrents from your list. What is more, the practical search form enables you to filter the displayed torrents and find the download you are looking for.

From the left side panel you can switch from the search results view to downloads or channels list and use the built-in video player to watch streaming torrents.

What is more, Tribler offers you the option to sort your torrents based on their name, file type and files size with just a few clicks of a mouse button. Tribler also offers detailed information about the selected torrent and helps you monitor the download and upload speed, ETA value and completion percentage.

Although the built-in torrent search engine enables you to search and download torrents without visiting webpages, you still have the option to add external torrent files or add magnet or direct http-links for the desired torrent.

On top of that, Tribler comes with support for a subset of the TOR onion routing protocol, a fact that makes it possible to protect your privacy as you download or seed torrents.

By accessing the Settings window, you can also customize your Tribbler profile, set the path for the default download location, enable the family filter and limit the upload and download rate.

On the whole, Tribler is a streamlined OS X application designed from the ground up to be used for managing and streaming multiple torrents at the same time.
