TamoSoft Throughput Test 1.0 Build 14
Helps you test and evaluate your WiFi and LAN performance
TamoSoft Throughput Test comes with two different application, the client app and the server application.
As follows, the server app needs to run on a computer and listen for connections from the client that needs to run from another computer connected to the same network.
In order to provide detailed and accurate results, TamoSoft Throughput Test is designed to continuously send TCP and UDP data streams via your network. Throughout the testing period, TamoSoft Throughput Test computes important metrics such as downstream and upstream throughput values, round-trip time, packet loss.
Easily read and interpret the results with the help of the dynamic chart
All generated results are displayed in both numeric and chart format, a fact that makes it easy for you to interpret the data and visualize the results.
What is more, TamoSoft Throughput Test comes with support for both IPv4 and IPv6 connections and offers you the option to assess the network performance based on the Quality of Service. Consequently, you can change the QoS settings from “Best Effort” to “Background”, “Excellent Effort”, “Audio/Video”, “Voice” and “Control”.
The generated chart can be configured to display the throughput, which includes TCP upstream and downstream along with the UDP upstream and downstream or to display only the Loss or RTT.
Quickly change the connection port and protocol
From TamoSoft Throughput Test’s Server app you can easily change the connection port along with the protocol type and monitor the connection log.
Although TamoSoft Throughput Test comes with a user-oriented interface and easy-to-read active chart, we would have liked it even more if the server application allowed us to copy the IPv4 or IPv6 address.
