SANmp For Mac

SANmp, which is short for Storage Area Network, is a versatile and cross-platform solution which allows video, graphics and audio workstations to access information via iSCSI Storage Area Network or Fibre Channel at the same time.

Using SANmp, you will be able to manage, share and organize resources from Storage Area Networks. SANmp supports RAID and can configure access privileges.

Another advantage of SANmp is that it does not necessitate a server or an Ethernet connection (in a Fibre Channel-only SAN). SANmp comes in the form of an Admin and Client.

The SANmp Admin is a separate desktop application for managing and configuring users and volumes on the targeted SAN. The Admin enables you to convert disks to SANmp disks, create users and determine which users has access to each SANmp volume.

The SANmp Client application allows you to access SANmp volumes on the storage network. From the main window, a list of all SANmp volumes (which the administrator has given access) are displayed.

As a client use, you can select a volume and mount it read / write, read-only or write exclusive, according to the assigned privileges.
