Data Turbine 3.2

Java-based network ring buffer for streaming data, video, audio and more
DataTurbine is a free and open-source network ring buffer that enables you to stream numeric, audio, video, text and binary data across a user-defined network topology.

The data will be streamed over TCP and primary access will be provided via the Java API or Tomcat/WebDAV server.

Being developed using Java, DataTurbine is a cross-platform tool which can be used on any operating system that comes with Java support (e.g. Mac OS X, Windows, Linux).

Detailed instructions on how to install and use the DataTurbine utility on your Mac are available HERE.

What's New in This Release:
  • Server:
  • Added failsafe second-pass recursive delete-archive after short delay if an archive fails to delete. Some systems sometimes would fail to clean up old archives on close.
  • Added catch *any* exception on Timer(). One could slip thru doing Android port testing.
  • Add warning message for IPV6 (vs IPV4) address parsing. Eventually need to handle IPV6 addresses.
