pyTivoX is a free and easy to use tool that will allow you to easily transfer your media files from your Mac to your TiVo.
pyTivoX is a free and open source replacement for the upload feature of Tivo Desktop Plus.
Usage:
· Run the program
· Click the little 'plus' icon on the bottom, and select a directory containing files to share.
· Input a name to share as, and make sure the right type is selected (video, photo, etc).
· Add more shares if desired.
· Click the 'restart' button. (Restart will not give any visual cues, but will restart the underlying pytivo program).
· Go to your tivo, and check the bottom of the 'now playing' list.
