VideoStage for Mac
VideoStage is a handy and practical Mac OS X application specially designed for video projections and live performances such as theater, live events, circus and other similar events.
Straightforward multimedia player for live events
VideoStage comes with a user-friendly interface that provides quick and easy access to playback controls, output windows, volume controls and more.
Thus, you can play, pause and stop the loaded playlist, select the video you want to play, enable the continuous playback mode and loop videos.
The Video display options panel helps you enable or disable the full screen mode, hide or show the test pattern, reset the video window and hide or show the menubar. VideoStage helps you adjust the sound volume or mute your videos altogether.
User-definable playlists and handy cue sheet
Thanks to the Windows panel, you can summon or close various windows, like the Cue Sheet, Monitor, Presets, Playlists and Infos window. From the cue sheet window, you can easily check your notes, remove or add new ones with ease.
By accessing the Playlists window, you can load or add new playlists with just a couple of mouse clicks. It is worth mentioning that you need to copy and paste videos into the provided source folder in order to add new items to the create playlist.
Effortlessly monitor CPU usage during playback
Additional data is provided by the Infos window, that allows you to view the currently played media and monitor the CPU usage at the same time. VideoStage allows you to resize the Monitor window by simply clicking on and dragging the bottom right corner of the window.
Unfortunately, VideoStage proved to be unresponsive at times, fact that might push away prospective buyers. We would have appreciated VideoStage even more if it allowed us to add files to our playlist without copying them to VideoStage’s video folder.
