Customize your webcam feed with numerous effects, items and accessories
You can use ManyCam in combination with Facebook Video Chat, Google+ Hangouts, Skype, and any other Mac OS X application that allows you to choose the source of your video. Unfortunately, ManyCam cannot be used with Apple’s video calling app, FaceTime.
On the other hand, ManyCam allows you to use your webcam with multiple chat apps at the same time thanks to ManyCam’s virtual webcam feature. What is more, ManyCam is designed to run in the background and stay out of your way unless you need it.
The expandable effects library offers you endless possibilities
ManyCam comes with a long list of webcam effects and graphics that you can add to your videos and photos. In addition, you can expand the effects library with numerous webcam effects and graphics right by downloading and installing them from ManyCam’s Video and Audio Effects page.
Thanks to ManyCam, you’ll be able to change you face, eyes, hair, eyebrows, background image and even use various accessories to impress or surprise your friends and family. All items are organized in different groups depending on their type.
Use text and drawings in your screencasts
What is more, you can add text over your video, make it scroll horizontally or vertically and change the text size, transparency level and color. You can even add a customizable clock in the desired of the video and choose between different date formats.
Moreover, ManyCam allows you to draw over your video using a pen, brush or eraser. With the help of this feature you can draw over your video or screencast in real time. The Sources tab allows you to adjust the brightness, contrast and color hue of the video feed. You can also flip or rotate the image, use still or videos as sources, take snapshots and stream your Mac’s desktop.
By accessing ManyCam’s status bar menu you can access the Video Effects or Video Sources tab, use a colored menu bar icon, uninstall the app or configure it to automatically run at login.
