Effortless to install and setup solution for downloading videos from YouTubeFinding your way around MacX YouTube Downloader’s main window is fairly intuitive: the top toolbar provides buttons for frequent actions (add URL, clear finished, remove all), on the left side of the window you can see the list of links that will be processed, while on the right you can preview their content.
In addition, you can easily specify the output location, select the output file format, and decide to have the MP4s automatically added to your iTunes library. Note that you can set up the default format (MP4, WebM, FLV, or 3GP) and video resolution (240P, 360P, 480P, 720P, 1080P, or highest definition) for the output file via the MacX YouTube Downloader Preferences.
Easy to use solution for batch downloading multiple videos without too much user interactionAfter you define all the videos you want to download, MacX YouTube Downloader is able to run in the background without requiring your attention: the app will simply follow the download list on its own. Moreover, when all the downloads are over, the app can shut down on its own and open the target folder.
To make sure MacX YouTube Downloader does not interact with you work in any way, you can enable the speed limiter function, and set up proxies for the download.
However, even though the app presents “Convert” buttons for each video URL, MacX YouTube Downloader cannot process the videos in any way: you are simply directed to the MacX Video Converter Pro app, which is a commercial project.
